JCI Chapters from Area 5 successfully held the Area 5 Conference coined, Beyond The Usual last September 1-3, 2017 at Pagadian City. This event was hosted by JCI Greater Pagadian and JCI Yllana.

The JCI Area Conference serves as a way for the different chapters within the area to:

  • converge for information dissemination,
  • prepare for the National Convention preparation,
  • elect area and national leaders,
  • build camaraderie,
  • and to award exemplary projects with the most impact, and that best reflect the JCI Mission, Vision and Values.

The Area 5 award is known as the Agung Gawad Mindanao Awards, and is one of the most awaited events during the Area Conference. It was held on September 2, at the Megayon Provincial Government Complex.

However, we would like to dedicate these awards to our volunteers, who have tirelessly given their time and effort to give to the community. We would also like to honor our partners and stakeholders, for the undying support and belief that together, we can make a lasting and positive difference.

We are looking forward to more years of productive activities that will create impact to the community, and leaders for the future generations.
