Consider two business owners in Davao. One is opening a restaurant. The other is launching a premium skincare line. Both ask AI the same question: which local content creators should I work with?
Would AI give them the same answer?
I tested 10 campaign scenarios from volume 4 of my AI Visibility Report. This covers different industries and marketing needs. Each gave AI a specific business context and objective.
Let’s find out which Davao content creators make the shortlist.

Does AI Recognize the Same Creators for Every Campaign?
No, AI doesn’t automatically recommend the same Davao content creators for every campaign. Here’s the scorecard.
| Campaign | Agreement | Names on more than one list |
| National brand reaching Davao consumers | High | Jinkie Bangcot, Chito Samontina, Davao Conyo (all 3); Jorgina Kei (2) |
| Product for college students | High | Jinkie Bangcot (all 3); Davao Conyo (2) |
| Restaurant opening | Medium | Davao Food Guide, Barato Blog |
| Residential development | Medium | Jorgina Kei, Chito Samontina, Davao Conyo |
| Tourism destination | Medium | Jinkie Bangcot, Davao Conyo |
| Beauty product launch | Medium | Bibi Moon, Keithley Joyce Andales, The Fake Ash |
| Hotel or resort | Low | Jinkie Bangcot, Davao Food Guide |
| Fitness or sports brand | Low | Andrea Taylor, Charlene Co |
| Small business, limited budget | Low | Gelatin’s |
| Premium or luxury brand | None | No shared name |

Two campaigns got real agreement. One got none at all. The rest sat somewhere in between.
Which Davao Content Creators Show Up Almost Every Time?
A handful of creators consistently stand out in Davao’s content scene. Here’s how often each appeared across the 10 campaign scenarios and three AI platforms.
| Content creator | Campaigns featuring them | Total appearances across platforms |
| Jinkie Bangcot | 9 of 10 | 15 |
| Davao Conyo | 6 of 10 | 11 |
| Chito Samontina | 6 of 10 | 8 |
Total appearances are calculated by adding the platform counts across all 10 campaigns.
Results Worth Checking
- Jinkie Bangcot was named in nine of the ten campaigns. Fitness was the only miss.
- Fitness was the only campaign where none of the three names appeared.
- Davao Conyo and Chito Samontina skipped beauty, fitness, and the limited-budget brief.
What Happens to the List When the Campaign Gets Broader or Pickier?
It changes a lot. As a campaign gets more specific, the lists pull apart. The pickier it gets, the more each platform goes its own way.
Let’s compare the two extremes.
| Platform | National brand reaching Davao consumers | Premium or luxury brand |
| ChatGPT | Jinkie Bangcot, Laking Davao, Chito Samontina, Davao Conyo, Jorgina Kei | Jorgina Kei, Maizy Colleen, Geia Mendoza, Chito Samontina, Sunhee Lee |
| Google AI | Davao Conyo, Chito Samontina, Bogart the Explorer, Jinkie Bangcot, Jorgina Kei | IDr. Sam Bernardo, Crizalyn Lumikid, Erica Ingrid, Keithley Joyce Andales, Davao Bloggers Society |
| Gemini | Davao Conyo, Chito Samontina, Mark Lou Malinao, Lance Justin Carr, Jinkie Bangcot | Abdur Rahman, Lance Justin Carr, Jewel Padilla, Mommy Ara Casas-Tumuran, Jinkie Bangcot |
Results Worth Checking
- National brand: Three names on every list. All three platforms seem to treat “reach Davao consumers” as “name the biggest local personalities.”
- Premium brand: Fifteen picks, zero repeats. “Premium” is a feeling, and each platform felt something different.
If your brief is “everyone,” AI agrees. If your brief has a taste level, AI guesses.
Does AI Treat a Campaign Like a Niche?
Sometimes. And that can backfire. I compared these campaign lists with the niche questions from my earlier posts.
| Campaign | What AI leaned on | Patten from previous posts |
| Restaurant | Davao Food Guide, Barato Blog | The same two pages led the food blogger question |
| Hotel or resort | Davao Food Guide (2 of 3), Jinkie Bangcot | A food page on a hotel list. Whether it fits is the brand’s call. |
| Beauty launch | Bibi Moon, Keithley Joyce Andales, The Fake Ash | Bibi Moon and Keithley weren’t named in the beauty creators question |
| Fitness brand | Andrea Taylor, Charlene Co | Elliot Medino, a fitness regular in my first post, didn’t make these lists |
| College students | Jinkie Bangcot, Davao Conyo | ChatGPT’s list was the same five names as its Gen Z list |
Results Worth Checking
- ChatGPT’s Gen Z list in my last post was Jinkie B, Kristine So, Athinalagura, Jay Bangcot, and Gelatin’s. Its college-student campaign list had the same five names, in a different order.
- Google AI and Gemini didn’t repeat their lists that way. Even so, only one creator from my student creators question, Lance Justin Carr on Gemini, came back for the college brief.
- A “college student” brand and a “student creator” aren’t the same thing. AI doesn’t always make that call.
How Does AI Handle a Campaign With a Limited Budget?
AI picks up on a limited budget, but it doesn’t turn that into a clear creator tier. For a small business, that leaves the affordability question open.
| Platform | Picks for a small business with a limited budget |
| ChatGPT | MOSANG, isthecassie, Davao Nomad, Gelatin’s, bisayanghotmamangdavaocity |
| Google AI | TammyKikoy, Gelatin’s (~31k followers), Wander Blogs (~13k), Crizalyn Lumikid, Athina Lagura |
| Gemini | Jinkie Bangcot, Jewel Padilla, Mekyla Wong, Barato Blog, Laking Davao |
Results Worth Checking
- Only Gelatin’s repeated. It appeared on ChatGPT and Google AI.
- Google AI was the only one to show follower counts. It leaned toward smaller accounts.
- Gemini went bigger. Barato Blog and Laking Davao are on its list. In my last post, Google AI put them at roughly 350k to 400k followers.
None of the lists included rates. AI picked up on “limited budget” but didn’t specify what that means in local currency.
I focused on 10 of the 35 questions here. The rest of the results and insights are in the Content Creators in Davao report.
How Should Brands Use AI’s Creator Shortlists?

Brands should use them to start the search, not to finish it.
AI is good at handing you names of Davao content creators fast. It can’t tell you who fits your audience, what they charge, or how their last campaign performed. So, check those yourself before you decide.
For Campaigns That Need Broad Reach
AI tends to repeat the same names. Treat these creators as a starting point, then check whether their audience and content fit your campaign.
For Niche Products
Beauty and fitness campaigns can bring up different creators across AI platforms. Try more specific prompts about your industry, target audience, and the type of content you need.
For Luxury or Budget-Conscious Campaigns
AI recommendations can vary when the brief involves subjective terms like “premium” or “affordable.” Be more specific in your prompts by including your budget in PHP, target audience, and expected reach.
For Local Businesses
Restaurant, hotel, and property campaigns may bring up a mix of content creators and pages. Narrow your search by asking who covers your type of business or location.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Compare multiple AI platforms. A creator who appears on only one list isn’t necessarily a poor fit. You just need to check their relevance to your campaign.
- Ask creators about their rates and results. AI didn’t supply any. It’s best to verify those details directly.
How Can Davao Content Creators Get Picked for Campaigns?
My previous posts covered names, handles, and bios. This one adds another angle:
- Say which brands you suit. Restaurants, hotels, beauty, fitness. Put it in your profile or on your site.
- Describe your audience the way a brand would. Who they are, where they live, what they buy.
AI answers campaign questions, so give it campaign-shaped information.

Your Industry Could Be Next
There’s still plenty more to explore, and other industries may bring up a different set of names.
So, what would you like to see? Is it your industry or the kind of business you’re building? Drop it in the comments or send me a message. I read every response, and your suggestion may shape what I test next.
