AI Visibility Report - Content Creators in Davao
2026 Edition
Volume Four
October 2026
A Note from Jessica
Every city has its known faces and personalities online. Davao has plenty, from food vloggers and lifestyle creators to travel accounts. Businesses increasingly work with them to reach people through content that feels more personal and relatable.
But unlike restaurants, hotels, or residential developments, content creators aren’t fixed locations or listed properties. Their visibility depends on how clearly they’re connected to their niche online. For them, AI recommendations aren’t just about business. They’re about recognition, too.
For Volume 4 of my AI Visibility Report series, I wanted to know if AI recognizes content creators in Davao. And if it does, what is it basing those recommendations on?
Our hope is simple: to help Davao content creators get recognized and discovered by the right audiences and brands.
Let’s build visibility that turns content into collaborations.

AI isn’t replacing word of mouth.
It’s becoming word of mouth.
Executive Summary
This report compares how three leading AI platforms respond to the same content creator-related questions under consistent testing conditions. Each platform was tested independently for a comparable snapshot of AI-generated recommendations for content creators in Davao in October 2026.

Key Findings
What we discovered
Context changes the answer
AI recommendations change significantly depending on the niche, audience, business goal, or platform being asked about.
Visibility doesn't always carry over
A content creator can be highly visible on one platform without being recognized when AI is asked about another.
Recognition doesn't always mean consistent identification
Consistent creator names, handles, bios, and descriptions help AI connect the right person to the right niche.
Creators, pages and communities can mix
AI often interprets categories broadly, mixing individual creators, pages, communities, and organizations in the same list.
A big audience isn’t everything
Strong visibility doesn’t always mean the right fit for the campaign.
A Few Things to Know
AI changes. Constantly.
The recommendations in this report are a snapshot in time. Ask the same question tomorrow, from a different account or location, and you may get different answers.
We tested three of today’s most widely used AI platforms.
This report compares recommendations from ChatGPT, Google AI, and Gemini using the same set of questions about content creators in Davao under consistent testing conditions.
AI isn’t always right.
During testing, we found differences in how creators were identified, which platforms they were associated with, and which names appeared for specific content categories. Those findings aren’t flaws in this report; they’re part of what makes it useful.
This isn’t a ranking.
This report doesn’t determine which content creators are the “best.”It documents which personalities the three AI platforms recommended during the testing period.
Who is this report for?
This report was created with three key audiences in mind.

Who are the content creators in Davao?
We asked three AI platforms for their top picks of content creators in Davao. Here’s how they answered.
Top recommendations from each AI

- Davao Conyo (Phillip Te Hernandez)
- Jinkie Bangcot
- Jay Bangcot
- Jelli
- Carlo Yee
The most self-contained list of the three, built almost entirely from names the other platforms didn’t surface.

- Chito Samontina
- Davao Conyo
- Crissa Ayao Liaging
- Lady Tisay Muertena
- Wang Ising TV
All five picks felt similarly popular, no single name stood out as the clear top choice.

- Phillip Te Hernandez (Davao Conyo)
- Chito Samontina / Kuya Chito
- Ryniel Pineda (“Dancing Security Guard”)
- Wang Ising TV
- Mark Lou Malinao (Maasim Ta Vines)
Gave the most detail overall, pairing real names with personas or claims to fame.
AI consensus
High Agreement
3 of 3 AI platforms recommended:
- Davao Conyo / Phillip Te Hernandez
Common Recommendations
2 of 3 AI platforms recommended:
- Chito Samontina / Kuya Chito
- Wang Ising TV
3 in 5 consumers prefer AI shopping recommendations with creator insights
Davao Conyo was the one name every platform recognized, but recognition didn’t translate into agreement. Two platforms ranked them first, one ranked them second, and all three wrote the name differently.
For a creator, that’s a sharper problem than it sounds. A restaurant or hotel can survive being listed under two names. A personal brand built on recognition can’t afford AI being unsure which version of a name belongs to them.
QUESTION 02
Who are the emerging content creators in Davao?
We asked three AI platforms to name the emerging content creators in Davao. Here’s how they answered.
Top recommendations from each AI

- Macy Khloe
- Justin
- Kristine So
- Rassel Catapang
- Jayson Bangcot / JayBangcot
Leaned toward individual personalities, though “Justin” appears as a first name only and is worth verifying before outreach.

- Jinkie Bangcot
- Boy Pimple
- Sherwin Ladrido
- Tor Bagtik
- Laagang Walay Kwarta
Listed the most distinctly local, channel-style names, such as Boy Pimple and Laagang Walay Kwarta.

- Phillip Te Hernandez
- Ryniel Pineda
- Mark Lou Malinao / Maasim Ta Vines
- Wang Ising, Crist Briand & Jodesa delos Santos
Returned the shortest list and bundled three creators into a single entry, suggesting it drew from collaborations rather than single profiles.
AI consensus
No Cross-Platform Agreement
None of the three platforms shared the same recommendation.
AI Can See Your Content. Can It See What You’re Known For?
The lists don’t overlap at all, so “emerging” means something different to each platform, and who surfaces depends on which AI is asked. Naming formats also vary, from first names and handles to full names and group entries, which makes names harder to verify. “Justin” is a clear example, as it’s difficult to tell which creator ChatGPT is referring to.
With no shared signal, the field is open here. Clear, consistent profiles across the web may matter more than follower count in getting recommended.
QUESTION 03
Who are the food bloggers in Davao?
We asked three AI platforms to recommend food bloggers in Davao. Here’s how they answered.
Top recommendations from each AI

- Davao Food Guide
- Barato Blog
- Laking Davao
- Bite King
- Hiro Travels
Focused mostly on blog and page names, with Hiro Travels the only entry that leans toward travel, not food.

- Davao Food Guide
- Laking Davao
- Inside Davao
- Barato Blog
- Christian Carlo Rea & Teng Kaon TV
Blended pages with individual creators, closing on a pairing of Christian Carlo Rea and Teng Kaon TV.

- Davao Food Guide (Sir Cocoy)
- Barato Blog
- Eat N’ Travels / Davao Foodies
- Jinkie Bangcot (@_jinkieb)
- Jako De Leon
Presented its entries with names and handles, such as Sir Cocoy and @_jinkieb, which makes them easier to verify.
AI consensus
High Agreement
3 of 3 AI platforms recommended:
- Davao Food Guide
- Barato Blog
Common Recommendations
2 of 3 AI platforms recommended:
- Laking Davao
AI Doesn’t Just Find Creators. It Matches Them to the Campaign.
This one shows real agreement so far. Davao Food Guide and Barato Blog hold a place on every list, which suggests AI relies on a shared pool of established pages.
There are also some location questions in the results. Bite King is from Tagum, while Gemini also mentions Jako De Leon, son of comedian Joey De Leon, despite not being a Davao-based creator. This is a good reminder that an AI recommendation can look locally relevant without every name being correctly tied to the city.
QUESTION 04
Who are the travel content creators in Davao?
We asked three AI platforms for their top recommendations of travel content creators in Davao. Here’s how they answered.
Top recommendations from each AI

- Cherrylan “Cherry” Palo
- Khae Santiago / Miss Khae
- TripLocal
- Boss Mil
- Davao Nomad / Jade Gonato Factura
Went mostly with named personalities, with TripLocal as the clearest business-style entry.

- Jinkie Bangcot (@_jinkieb)
- Christian Carlo Rea
- Laking Davao
- TripLocal
- Roy Van Rivero (Meant to Go)
Pulled names in different styles, from a handle (@_jinkieb) to a page (Laking Davao) to a channel (Meant to Go).

- Escape Manila (Glen)
- Laagang Walay Kwarta
- Jojie Alcantara (Kodaker Dabawenya)
- Boss Mil
Opened with Escape Manila, a name tied to Manila, before moving on to local channels.
AI consensus
Medium Agreement
2 of 3 AI platforms recommended:
- TripLocal
- Boss Mil
Your Niche Shapes How AI Finds You.
No travel creator appeared on all three lists, and only TripLocal and Boss Mil earned a second mention. So agreement is thin here.
Gemini’s pick of Escape Manila shows that a Manila-sounding blog name can still be recommended as a Davao creator because of where the creator, Glen, comes from. That means a creator’s origin can carry as much weight as the name of the page.
QUESTION 6
Who are the fashion content creators in Davao?
We asked three AI platforms to recommend their go-to fashion content creators in Davao. Here’s how they answered.
Top recommendations from each AI

- Jinkie Bangcot
- Geia Mendoza
- Abdur Rahman
- Lance Justin Carr
- IDr. Sam Bernardo
Led with Jinkie Bangcot, a name that has now appeared in the food, travel, and beauty questions too.

- Abdur Balono
- Keithley Joyce Andales
- Thea (@theabtsta)
- Pat Cortez (@iampatcortez)
Stood apart completely. None of its four recommendations appeared on the other two lists.

- Maizy Colleen Tan
- Abdur Rahman
- Lance Justin Carr
- Jill Aira
- IDr. Sam Bernardo
Had the strongest overlap with ChatGPT, sharing three of its five recommendations.
AI consensus
Medium Agreement
2 of 3 AI platforms recommended:
- Abdur Rahman
- Lance Justin Carr
- IDr. Sam Bernardo
The results reveal no clear AI-wide view of who the fashion creators in Davao are. Even when two platforms agree, the third can surface an entirely different set of names.
Worth noting is Pat Cortez. She’s a model who has worked with several well-known brands. Her inclusion, however, does not confirm that she is originally from Davao City.
